In the parsha, Va’etchanan, it includes the most important affirmation for Bnei Israel: the Shema (שמע). The word shema means “hear” or to “listen.” 

The Shema is a Divine declaration for the nashama (soul) to perceive the Oneness of Hashem. When one declares the Shema twice a day (morning & night), stam at base, they have fulfilled their daily obligation. 

This artwork is a visualization guide. When one takes the time to separate themselves from the mundane world, they have the opportunity to create a separate space (a place of kodesh, and intention (kavanah)), in order to center their being with the Oneness of Hashem.
